Jewelry care

We always suggest storing your jewelry in a dry, air-tight location. Make sure to avoid contact with water, creams, hair spray, oils and humid locations (like bathrooms) when possible. But if it happens, no worries! Read on for some easy care tips, or click here if you're curious about our cleaning and repair options!

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

RAW METAL

Due to the nature of brass, it will patina with time. Some love the patina look of tarnished brass! if you like the shine of new brass, I suggest using a Sunshine Cloth like this one Titanium and Aluminum oxidize at a much slower rate (if at all), so these metals can be a great alternative if you're worried about tarnishing!

SILVER

For pieces made of sterling silver I suggest using the same Sunshine Cloth as for the raw Metal, like this one. Ps. If the cloth begins to turn a blackish color, fear not! It is normal, and can still be used many times after the cloth has turned dark!

coated metal

Our coated metal pieces with black details need little care! The clear powder coat protects them from oxidizing. And the black details, while shiny, are very durable. If oils or make-up end up on your piece, gently wipe them clean with a soft/non-abrasive cloth.

LUCITE

If oils or make-up end up on your Lucite piece, gently wipe them clean with a soft/non-abrasive cloth. Super easy!
